UroCycler®

Automatic Bladder Management System™

Medventions Technologies, LLC. is in the business of providing a variety of urological medical device products for certain urological markets. Our Primary product is the patented UroCycler® – Automatic Bladder Management System™ to create “New Standards of Patient Care” concepts for the benefit of patients, who are facing personal challenges within the usage of indwelling urinary catheters.

The use of a UroCycler has often been described as transforming the typical Foley indwelling catheter into an “intelligent catheter”. We like to call it our “Prosthetic Sphincter Muscle” of the bladder system. With its low-pressure fluid flow control magnetic valve (cycler) device allowing the bladder to fill in a normal manner and then opening at the appropriate, safe pressure for emptying the contents of a human bladder, in combination with using a catheter, nearly normal patient bladder function can be maintained or restored.

The UroCycler Automatic Bladder Management System is able to significantly reduce or overcome many of the typical deficiencies, problems, and risks of patient catheterization as it is being used today. As an add-on to any conventional indwelling catheter, for the first time superior outcomes of 90.9% fewer Urinary Tract Infections (UTI) risks are now achievable for most patients required to wear an indwelling catheter to live.

Some of the most beneficial places The UroCycler Automatic Bladder Management System is in desperate need are by the large Medical Facilities, Nursing Homes, ICU’s, Long-Term Care Facilities, Rehabilitation Centers, Patients Homes, Hospice, and acute patient care for COVID Patients. COVID wards patients are 83% more likely to contract a Catheter-Associated Urinary Tract Infection (CAUTI) than standard wards.
